What is Levitra?

Levitra is the brand name of a medicine called vardenafil. Vardenafil is prescribed as a treatment for Erectile Dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the medical term for impotence, which is difficulty in achieving or maintaining an erection. Levitra works by causing an increase in the flow of blood to the penis. • You should take your Levitra tablet 25minutes to an hour before starting any sexual activity. This gives the pill time to get into the blood stream and start working. After taking the pill, and with sexual stimulation, you should be able to achieve and maintain an erection after about 25 minutes. The ability to gain and maintain an erection after taking a Levitra pill lasts for between four and five hours.

• You should not take Levitra with grapefruit juice, as it may lead to an increase of the levels of the medication in the blood stream and, therefore, potentially increase the risk of side effects.

• You should not have more than one Levitra tablet a day.
