What is Levitra orodispersible?

Levitra is a prescription medication that is given to men who are suffering with erectile dysfunction (a condition that is sometimes called impotence).  Erectile dysfunction is common condition (it is estimated that over 50% of men aged between 40 and 70 suffer with it to some extent) and means that a man struggles to get and keep and erection.  Levitra contains an active ingredient called vardenafil and works by increasing the blood flow to the tissues in the penis. • Levitra orodispersible tablets may be taken with food or without, depending on your preference. Place the tablet on the tongue as soon as it is taken out of its foil packaging. After the Levitra orodispersible tablet has been placed on tongue, it will quickly dissolve. When it has it should be swallowed immediately. Levitra orodispersible tablets should be swallowed without water or any other type of fluid. Your hands should be dry before you remove the tablet from its packaging to ensure that it does not disintegrate in your hands.

• You should take your Levitra tablet 25minutes to an hour before starting any sexual activity. This gives the pill time to get into the blood stream and start working. After taking the pill, and with sexual stimulation, you should be able to achieve and maintain an erection after about 25 minutes. The ability to gain and maintain an erection after taking a Levitra pill lasts for between four and five hours.

• Levitra orodispersible tablets should not be taken with grapefruit juice, as doing so may lead to an increase of the levels of vardenafil in the blood and, potentially increase the risk of side effects.

• You should not have more than one Levitra orodispersible tablet a day.

Does Levitra have any side effects?
